modded xbox with nxe ?

hi i have a modded xbox. I couldnt download the nxe update because i was afraid of it making the hacked firmware not work. so what can i do ? should i download the update or is there another hack for nxe ??
 
The NXE will work perfectly fine with any hacked firmware, update and enjoy.
