This is an English save, not a French save. I suspect the save is incompatible with a French game to some degree as you have already confirmed it works with an English Fire Red.

(An English Fire Red GBA game should work with US / European version of Colosseum as their is no difference between the US / UK English Fire Red games.)

All the saves are in the zip file download in the first post:

2, 3 and 4 are the extra saves, with the contents detailed in the post.

PKHeX doesn't have legality checking built in for many of these old Gen 3 events, so will not match any known encounters it perceives are legally possible.

Indeed a very nice assemblage of rare event Pokémons that we missed when we were children, huge applause to people who contributed their allocation to this project. This will be a souvenir for the future generation of pokemon fan's to remind them of these events, that how it was sporadic and rare for us to get these events, and all theses gathering of this relic event pokemons will give them a chance to experience the events pokemons of their past.

Im after an unhatched egg of the Box Egg Surfing Pichu, Somehow all the savefile and files are the same and do not include most of the event pokemons and eggs listed..... Not sure if those are the wrong files to be dowloaded whats going on with it or what, but I would be eternally thankful if you could simply help me get the actual file that is mentioned as the General File for this project savefile compilation. As listed, with the surfing pichu eggs....

    Thank you!

You can find Surfing Pichu Egg in "FireRed - Gen 3 Event Compilation (1).sav" file in the box named "Box Eggs"

I've known about this project for many years now, and this is some great work but while digging through some of the contributions in this thread today I noticed something that I want to bring up. It's nothing too big, but I want to give proper thanks to the person who deserves it.

The Zapdos - BADD72CBB9DE and Articuno - 053227A02659 donated by Swamp.N in this post do not originally belong to him. These specific Zapdos and Articuno were obtained by a friend I have interacted with in 2009 and 2010, DocCRP. Back in the gen 4 years between 2007 and 2010, DocCRP had regularly Pal Parked his self obtained 00010 10 ANIVs that he received at the Chicago stop (and 06808 PotD Pikachu), so they have different gen 4 Pal Park dates and was cloned in Doc's Emerald cartridge using the popular Battle Tower cloning glitch.

Back then, Doc quickly hated .pkm files so he only ever stored his Pokemon in save files, but he never shared any gen 3 save files to my knowledge nor shared gen 3 files for his events. I have had that Zapdos and Articuno from my trading days back in 2009, so it seems that Swamp.N found a gen 4 or higher pkm file of the Articuno and Zapdos, recreated those two in gen 3 format and shared them. Again, nothing too big but this Articuno and Zapdos are from someone I know, I would like them to be credited or at least mentioned in this thread.

Hey I'm completely inexperienced, but in love with what I found here. Are these Pokemon as legit as the Pokemon that i can find at Goppier GitHub (his Gen3PokemonDistributions file)? Are they the exact same? And are Pokemon from the Event Safefile the same as from the distribution cartridge )in terms of legitness? Or is one of them "coded" and the other one not? Is there a way to understand how you extracted all of this? Youtube maybe? Big fat thank you <3

The Pokemon in these saved files we're received at official Nintendo Distributions back in the day by various people and collected together by people in the Pokemon events preservation community, these we're checked for authenticity then added to these save files.

Some were distributed from official GBA Event Distributions that have been preserved by the community, or save games such as the Mystery Mew Distribution Save.

Many of the Japanese event Pokemon came from the archives of a prominent Japanese event collector at the time: Legit JPN Event Pokemon .pk3 Downloads

The PCNY Pokemon all came from Pokemon 3 PCNY Distribution Machine either from people who went to PCNY back in the day, or distributed by @Deoxyz when he possessed the hardware and some of the campaigns for a brief period of time.

The Gen 3 distributions created by Goppier / UndeadxReality a created by reverse engineering the event distribution algorithms from all of the above, as explained in this video: How We Recreated All GEN3 Pokémon Distributions

Essentially everything in this save is from before the user made distributions from Goppier / UndeadxReality existed, so everything here is generated by authentic distributions. The distributions from Goppier / UndeadxReality allow you to distribute your own "unique" event Pokemon using the same distribution algorithm Nintendo would have used for the Pokemon in this save file. Essentially giving the same end result, allowing you to have your own unique Pokemon from that event.

Okay this is the answer I was looking for. Recreating by reverse engineering feels kind of gross. Perfect, thank you so much.
