Pokémon Gold and Silver Remakes Announced for DS

The official Pokémon Japanese website has announced remakes for Pocket Monsters Gold and Silver. Pokémon Heart Gold (ポケットモンスター ハートゴールド) and Pokémon Soul Silver (ポケットモンスター ソウルシルバー) are scheduled for release this autumn. The games were speculated to be the big announcement on this weeks Pokemon Sunday. The remake games will be released 10 years after the original releases and will remain in the Johto region.
