ps3 limited edition ofw 4.40...help

please anyone..i need help..i just got a ps3 limited edition..CECH4003c it is currently on ofw 4.40..please help me what to do i want to play downloaded games...what should i do??

The CECH4003c is the new super slim, at this point the console is un hackable.

so what should i do with my ps3 then?how about installing bootloader??wont it still work?

Buy legit games for it?
Sell it and buy a PS3 that has not been updated?

At this point those are the only two options you have.

You can only install CFW on a console with 3.55 OFW or lower.

CFW - custom firmware, allows you to play backups
OFW - official firmware, one that SONY makes.

I'd recommend that you visit PS3HAX.net but take note, those guys in this PS3 forum are douchebags who curse and make fun of each other. The worst is even the staff (Gregory) which calls its users by "retard".

At least it was like this a couple months back when I used to use it, stopped using it because of their childish and PS3 hacking became uninteresting to me.

If you were to go to an actual PS3 hacking site for information, I suggest Crunching the Latest Scene News! It actually have a friendly environment rather than the mods and admins that fell as if they're drunk on power even when they have so little.

These two are pretty good but PS3HAX and PS3Crunch/PSX Scene seemed to have some kind of an internet war, a childish thing with grown ups on the internet.

Anyway, as you as you get it done that's all it matters.
