The PS3 is fifteen and still getting system updates. This is 4.89.
Download:
Download PS3 System Software 4.89
Copy the PS3 folder from the zip to a FAT32 USB stick (it has to end up as PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP), plug it in, and choose Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media. Don't turn it off part way through.
On HEN? Wait until PS3HEN supports 4.89 before you update.
Newer version: PS3 System Software 4.90
