PS3 system software 4.84 is out. If you're still on 4.82, this takes you straight past 4.83, as each update is the whole firmware.
Download:
Download PS3 System Software 4.84
Copy the PS3 folder from the zip to a FAT32 USB stick (it has to end up as PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP), plug it in, and choose Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media. Keep the power on until it finishes.
On HEN? Don't update until HEN supports 4.84. Sony's updater only goes forward.
