How to install:

1. Format a USB stick as FAT32 and copy the PS3 folder from the zip onto it, so you end up with PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP.
2. On the PS3 go to Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media.
3. Leave it alone until it's done.

If the console won't boot, the same stick works from Safe Mode. Just don't confuse System Update with Restore PS3 System on that menu, as Restore wipes the hard drive.

On HEN? Don't update until HEN supports 4.85. Sony's updater only goes forward.
