Seems the demo expires in 20 days, that's what it says on the Main Menu.

Well, I guess that's not a problem. Maybe if you burn it into a DVD or for those that have JTAGs it won't make any difference.
Besides: If you unplug the console out of the internet and out of the electric current, the console looses track of time and date, so maybe you can avoid that limit...

that's the bad part, the demo will expire in 20 days and then just back to work after the game's release.

... How do they make so that the demo knows what date is it if the console loses time/date when unplugged from the current and not connected to the internet?... I guess they don't.... Hmm.... Unless they programmed the demo to ONLY RUN between specific days, AND ONLY RUN when connection to the internet is detected, then we will always be able to play the demo when offline. I guess...

if you start the demo you have to sign to xbox live and on the pre-title screen it says: only work till 12th july and need to be sign in to xbox live
by the way its only a short level of green hill with classic sonic
very disapoint

I really want to test this demo, I found ways to get internet but do not have xbox live gold account

I got info that the demo runs fine on JTAGed consoles offline.

probably not or it will break the demo

If you have a JTAG, you can play it without worrying about the time limit.
Otherwise, i dunno. I got someone that said that on his Xbox, it showed the warning about having to be connected to be able to play, but after the warning, the demo played just fine...
But about the date/time, just play with the console offline, and adjust the time of the console manually. That should work I guess...
