Title updates from USB to Hard Drive? X360

So I've used Horizon to inject title updates from my computer to a usb drive and they were working on my 360! Then I went to settings>storage, selected my usb drive, looked for the title updates and then MOVED them to my xbox 360's hard drive. Will they work now? Or are they just lying around worthless?

ALso, through horizon, when I add a title update and then I add another one of the same game but def a different one, it tells me that both of them are the same updates, and whether I should overwrite! Because of this, I can only put one title update per game at a time.. Any solutions for both my questions?

The title updates should work regardless if it's on hard drive or usb drive.

Remove the old title update and inject the new title update or overwrite it.
