It's the full & latest update. For the last question read the red text under download.
 
To hopefully stop some people posting pointless questions or complaints I think I'll spell it out for them! READ THE RED TEXT! It's your own fault if you can no longer connect to XBL as you failed at reading! I may post this a few times so everyone can see it on every page and get the F*$!king message!
 
can anyone replicate the bug i mentioned just scroll back and forth in game market place to extras and back the advertisments seem to be caushing the lockup forcing a console restart

Yep, just did it, locked up on the extras tab, damn video ads :(
 
I need help ... I have xperia arc s with sd card. And using mass storage mode , I extracted the zip to the sd. Plugged to my xbox with usb , and nothing is happening

Is it FAT32 formatted? and the update is in the correct place on the SD card?

The Xbox 360 would never read my HTC Desires SD card when in mass storage mode, could be the same with the Xperia Arc S

Actually not true for some people,the update was up for at least half a day before someone mentioned that they could not get on live after updating with this. Only then was the warning message in red added.
So thanks,but please dont tell me i fail at reading,plenty peeps probably got this update from here way before any warning was issued.
Still.... a valuable lesson learned for a lot of people maybe,just out of interest where did this update come from? and surely it should have been tested before being made available for download :S

It's officially from Microsoft, what testing do you want? There has been big red text on every update that has ever came out before release saying Live will not work until the day it's officially ready for your console, yet every time MULTIPLE people complain that they can't connect to live after using the update, so no, it's not a valuable lesson, it's a whole bunch of morons not reading what is directly in front of their face and then can't bear to think it could be their fault for not reading something. The red text wasn't there at first because it was officially released by Microsoft and we have no way of knowing if it would work or not but even after the red text was added there are still more and more people complaining. They'll just have to wait until the regain live access. Don't think of this as a personal attack, there's a lot of people that complain about the updates every year but not one thing has changed.
 
No worries m8,anyone who did update after the warnings have only themselves to blame i agree,i just dont like being told i cant read lol :D Btw i never usually update from usb anyway,its just that there's 2 xboxes in the house,and my daughter got the update quite early on,but mine didn't so i was kinda desperate to just get the update and get on with it.
I now realise that the updates are not simply regional but dependant on the actual 360 itself.
 
i dont see problem they will get xbox live back one way or another there just over reacting and just prob thought they could go to there friend i got new update blah blah
