whether using XBOX JTAG / RGH Upgrade Dashboard can do as the instructions above? I wanted to upgrade from 15574 to 16197

i have slim Xbox the gears war version its free one, i download game form net (not original game) if i update any thing bad happen to me?? and i don't have internet so i don't care about XBL, cause if connect to the net they will band my console cause its cracked one.

It used to pay burned cd but not new released cd (Forza motorsport 4) so i update thinking it will play, after update it stopped to play crysis 2 which used to work well. It can't even detect game cd and it identify it as Audio CD!!!! im so confused!!!

I have know idea if its jtaged or flashed, but i thinks its flashed because it can't play games stored in HDD cd without loading game disk.

My xbox is Black, Jasper 120GB, made 01-11-2009....please help!! so confused.

In the future read the topic or ask for help first before you update your Xbox 360.
For now i think you have to flash your DVD Drive again, because the update made it stock again.

I had know idea if its Jtaged because i read somewhere it stated xbox manufactured from june-2009 can not be Jtaged only contained patched. So i knew mine is CB patched and not Jtaged!!

Could you please help me with flashing produces please.

If you had a JTAG, then it is back to stock & you can't revert it. The DVD drive however can be flashed again.

I have no idea if its jtagged or not!! i just bought it already modded.

I doubt if it is jtagged because it could not play new games such as forza motorsport 4 and i turn it on by pressing the eject button...does this makes it to be jtagged.

And if it was jtagged means it will never play burned cd again, only original?

How to flash DVD? Please Help.

Just a question: Will Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3 and Forza Horizon require this update? I want to be informed before I go and buy them.
Another question: Will this flash the Xbox 360 back to stock? I have a flashed Xbox 360 (LT+2.0...or is it LT+3.0? I don't know. I have Dashboard 13604.)

As you are on 13604 you will need to update to play all the above games, you are past the dashboard update that flashes back to stock however.

Another question: Let's say I have LT+2.0 and dashboard version 13604. If I update to this (16197) without flashing back to stock and then re-flashing back to LT+, will my back-ups still work?
If I update and my back-ups no longer work, will JTAG solve the problem?

It sounds like your console is modified to play pirated games, if so you need to revert it back to the original firmware and the update will work.

Yes, my console is modified to play pirated games and i have just updated my console to 2.0.14719, it is playing the original games now, but does not play the pirated games now, what can be done to play pirated games again?
