Yes, it will only restore the avatars if you are already on 16203.
 
InsaneNutter, i'm having an issues with Avatars after i updated my kernel and dash. I'm having the greyed out avatars. I've been told that i have to re-apply the dash but when i try using it from USB it just goes straight into FSD and it's not prompting for the update. Anyway i can fore the installation as opposed to "auto detect and install"? Or would you happen to have any suggestions? I've changed my launch.ini so the console only boots into NXE - no luck on update. I've also tried from XEXMenu - no go either. Is there a setting im missing that maybe supressing the update from happening?

Oh, i'm runnung an RGH.

I'm out of ideas.
 
Never Mind. I figured it out. I had to launch DashLaunch from FreeStyle 3 Homebrew and played with the "noupdater" in behaviour from enabled to disabled. Made sure i had the update on a USB key, refreshed FSD and launched DashLaunch again from homebrew. Auto detected the update and applied as needed.
What a pain in butt this was.
