Dear All
my xbox 360 is RGH 250GB I did this Update to my Console with usb after Dump Nand after that everything is fine but my cd drive can't reading a copy games disks
it's appear only xbox 360 logo and read only media so what i should do to fix it .please help

Turn the Xbox off with the USB memory stick still in, then turn it back on and see if it picks the update up.

What dashboard version are you currently on?
 
I need to know if i update will my console still run burned cd games from 2.0.16547.0 to this update lt 3.0
 
I updated my dashboard but now there isn't any "configure" option for new storage devices. The old ones are still configured but the new ones have no option. Any help?
 
This thread is a bit old but all the others seem to be closed, but it's not working for me. I have a Jtagged xbox on dash 17489, I downloaded the system update 17489 from the official xbox site, extracted it to my usb stick but the message to install the update doesnt show up.
I have tried restarting my xbox and renaming the file to $$ystemupdate, but nothing works. You got any idea?
 
You can't install an older update when your on a newer update that's why, this is 17349 and you are on 17489.

The Xbox 360 Dashboard 17489 update can be found here, you can use that to restore the avatar / kinect data on a Jtagged console. Dont use it to update a Jtag or RGH console though otherwise you will break it.
 
Hello Insanenutter, Currently i cannot play FIFA 16 due to i did not update Xbox 360 Dashboard to System Update 2.0.17349.0 (according to game seller) . My console can play all disk before.

Can i update from xbox website? or i need updated another way. Pls help.

My Xbox30 is arcade version, which mean did not have any harddisk. But i manage to install GTA V game into pendrive.

My xbox is jtag with 320 gb hdd i was trying to update using the above method but its was showing error and some status code so then i copied the system update to the hdd and now when ever i open xex menu it says to update and when i click yes the update fails what to do now i dont want to format my hdd it has many games in it i tried connecting using flie zilla doesnt work and then connected the hdd to my pc. My pc shows that the hdd is un partioned and needs to be formated. What to do now. 12660419_998629693517217_408462792_n.jpg help me plz
