Even from a CD/DVD I've the same error message. Here is the status code:

3356 - 3359 - 1900 - 0703 - C000 - 0099

and it's the same I have if I use an usb pendrive.

13145 added a new protection to the update! Seems it knows the correct console id as for big rod im looking into the update and patching the update files from partition 0 will upload soon

ok you didnt miss anyfiles it is just that you have to be careful when extracting blocks from partition 0 of the hdd because it is the cache. so what you did wrong is you put the older versions of it into the file but there is no way of telling what version they are. the only thing you can do is re do it which i am doing because i packet sniffed the update but with yours you extracted it from the hdd and got the wrong avatar files get on im and ill tell you where to get it thanks, xXXBOXxHACKERXx

That makes since I have 3 hard drives to my 360 and at some point they have all been used as a main hard drive so I could have got the files from the wrong drive I had them all hooked up to my pc when I extracted because I was also backing everything up and getting some dlc and other things to add to my jtag

Yeah i agree with that .

I always want to update my console to the newest version . Even it means that i can't go on XBL .

Thanks hacker.. waiting for yours appreciate the effort BigRod but seems it wont let me go w/o failing a download and staying DC'd. I actually stumbled here because Microsoft has been super useless during my Beta time and my downloads kept failing from XBL (never happened even once before so obviously something on Microsofts side)... anyways thanks.
