Nope that don't work because the part of the xbox that is update is the NAND (I believe) and once that is updated there is no way to change it to a older one because the system will see all of the older files as invalid
 
even trying to deceive? It needs to believe it wants to install an update higher while the update is an inferior version ...

For example, find the file that detects the version superior, replaced in the lower version can be it will work right?
 
Ya but the problem is they are coded to know what the updates are unless your super insanely good at coding then your just SOL and by coding I mean you will have to break every file down edit the files (most likely in Binary) and change the version number to read as a higher update and that is something that I don't know how to do (this is all a guess on my part also) and then you will most likely have the same problem because its not reading the correct dashboard number and who knows what will happen
 
You're right, it's dangerous, I prefer having a console without a console Xbox Live down ...

Still no news of the next update of Xbox Live?
 
I just had an idea!
If I tried to send an email to those who direct the beta program, or Xbox Live, explaining my situation, maybe they can sign up me for beta?

I think this is the only solution that is possible ...

Nope won't do any good because the Beta was for USA only so with you being in France they will just try to find out how you got the update tell you that you are SOL and who knows they could add your console to the next ban list and that would be bad
 
One last question to finish: what would happen if I put a disk drive containing the Update 2.0.12625.0 in an Xbox 360 version 2.0.13142.0? And what will happen if I put a disk drive containing the Update 2.0.13142.0 in an Xbox 360 version 2.0.12625.0?
 
nothing if your already updated past them it will just say mixed media disc and wont do anything if your on 2.0.13142 or 2.0.13145 the 2.0.12625 will completely ignored along with the rest because your NAND is already updated
 
I misspoke I think, when you do an update, there is a part thereof which is installed on the HDD from the console, and what I ask is what is happens if we inverted the HDD that have different versions of the dashboard ...

Or maybe it's I who have misunderstood ...
 
its just a dead end mate xbox will only accept upgrades

ps i also think digiex should not make beta xbox dashboard leaks anymore so that we dont get problems like this and only realease them when the betas over

Its the same as if you put them on a disc they will only use the files that match your NAND and your has already been updated so all files to do with the 2.0.12625 will be ignored

Ya I sadly agree with you because of this and Digiex being brought up in M$ public/private forum's this was the first beta I ever tried to leak and I don't think I will ever again I'll extract them (for collectors) but will only post after beta's are over

yer gotta agree i woudnt even post the new topic because that would still get them asking so id do this to prevent people from asking questions like when can i reconnect to live but all in all id say everyone would benefit
 
Iv just ordered the 4 gb xbox and going to recover my profile to that and download the cod maps only. just to play zombies so i have a spare xbox if anything goes wrong.
