xbox 360 slim music to 360HDD

how can i copy music into the xbox without a cd? because it doesn't work when i put them on my flash drive, can i burn songs onto a dvd that are in mp3 and copy it like that any suggestions ?

It should work on a flash drive formatted to fat32.

the flash drive was formatted to fat32 and in the 360 tell me its not configured and wont let me copy them to the hdd, i have the beta dashboard could that be why ?

It was never possible to copy mp3 files to the hdd with a usb drive.

so i can only rip em from a cd or can i burn a dvd disk to put more music on there and copy it all at once ?

I haven't tried a dvd, but cds will work.

aite i think i have most of the music on cds i want in my car so ill just probably do that i just wanted to see if a flash drive would work so i could move 20gb at once thx tho

You can only rip normal audio cd's to the 360's internal hard drive, you can however plug in a fat32 formatted external hard drive and have as much mp3's as you like on there. Or even stream your MP3's to the 360 from a PC or laptop.
