Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

it would still be easier to find the routine that ra3 uses in paul.dll and direct it to the part where it registers the game without even checking for a response. It's way too much data for me to process to do it, i know someone here can.
that maybe possible... so we need a better paul.dll that DOESN'T change the 'demo=0' to 'demo=1' (or the opposite not sure lol) so that it doesn't ask for a DISC. Or a no dvd crack for ra3game.dat (lol i'm making it sound so easy xD ).......... or you can do it the hard way by setting up a clone server of EA

i think a cracked ra3game.dat would be (probably) the only good choice for cracking Ra3.. since ra3 is currently beta, it is using the securom that limits installation to a number of pcs, and probably has some kind of time set as to when the game will stop functioning
-------------------------------------------------------------------
GL:5511="The system clock time/date is invalid. Please verify the time and date on your computer and try again."
GL:5512="The system clock time/date continues to be invalid. Please verify the time and date on your computer and try again."

(• Protected applications can only be used by authorized persons on a limited number of PC systems for a dedicated time ensuring total security prior to release. )
-------------------------------------------------------------------
so as long as the game uses securom, it will give more and more trouble.. ofcourse i know cracking the ra3game.dat is not easy, i just think its the best bet.

... So we seem to be having trouble locating outbound and inbound packets from the EA server and there connection with the RA3 beta?

What if there aren't any beyond the initial contact? Could we at least try my idea of disconnecting from the internet and trying to see if the game would still boot up? I haven't gotten a definitive answer FROM A BETA TESTER yet. I know it doesn't work if you haven't got the key, because I tried it, but I would like to know if a registered version can start up without the internet.

Beta Tester here, After first run there is no contact thats flagging up on packet sniffing between the RA3 client and EA's server. (Ive been trying to sniff out the response to help out, but I cant seem to get RA3 to re-validate to get a valid response)

I also disabled the network adaptor and booted up RA3 fine.

The only network activity to come from RA3 is when I click on online play and log into Gamespy. A CD Key check is done then also to ensure its being used by one person.

Hope this helps.

here is a snip of code in the paul.dll i think is interesting but i need someone to decode the routines to bypass them.

Code:
 L10005F07:
          push    eax
          push    SSZ1002941C_GetProductLicense_returns__s_
          call    SUB_L1000A560
          push    eax
          call    SUB_L1000ACF0
          add    esp,0000000Ch
          test    bl,bl
          mov    eax,SSZ10029444_true
          jnz    L10005F29
          mov    eax,SSZ1002943C_false
 L10005F29:
          push    eax
          push    SSZ1002941C_GetProductLicense_returns__s_
          call    SUB_L1000A560
          push    eax
          call    SUB_L1000ACF0
          add    esp,0000000Ch
          test    bl,bl
          mov    eax,SSZ10029444_true
          jnz    L10005F4B
          mov    eax,SSZ1002943C_false

Yes! This is what I was looking for! RA3 can STILL be booted up if you aren't online but are already registered! Now THIS, we can use.

OK, the next step is to find out critical files that were altered by the installation.

Let's see, the files that are most likely to have the altered code are listed below:
LauncherSupport.dat
patchw32.dll
All files in the RetailExe folder

Could you get us copies of these files? That should be every piece of the puzzle that we need (beyond that, it's up to us to figure out how to get it to work.)

Thread cleaned again, please feel free to start new topics for anything not to do with the Ra3 Beta, This topic is for the Red Alert 3 Beta only.

Ok, now that the thread is cleaned up a bit, I can't seem to find my old request for files. If you guys can't find it either, these were the files I was looking for from registered beta people.

LauncherSupport.dat
patchw32.dll
All the files in the RetailExe folder

Oh, and tutut, I never did get an answer. Were the files you gave us for RA3?

I suppose the files you are looking for are the ones from a registered version with a good key. So I can't give you those.
I do can give you the link tutut posted, because it seems you can't find them.
This is the link he posted: LauncherSupport.dat -- FileFactory.com - free file hosting --

Your request is still here: https://digiex.net/games-downloads/...load-keys-cracks-information-16.html#post1050 I removed the other 4 as its serving no benefit to anyone making a new request for the files every hour.

If you can’t extract the cd key from one of these files like xzKinGzxBuRnzx says might be possible I’m sure one of the members here with the beta will post them up.

@toAllTesters
Okay before we go on a merry go round all over again, please do not forget these files located in your X:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application Data\SecuROM\UserData (hidden directory). I was requesting a copy of these files from the previous thread at Mininova. The key is not here but it's a passport for your auth. if your stamped good we need that stamp for a loop hole (fake VM style).

(pi) And also we need to set some guidelines and set targets (meaning tiered targets not the general thing) as such so that this project may move faster. Injecting the correct end value to dat file is the absolute way but there are alternatives.

Anyway since I'm no Comcast user or KW owner, I only own legit old C&C games. I couldn't get hold of a legit key for testing and I don't really care about online play for internet here is crap so I'm among that waits for a crack or bypass or loophole for LAN play like most people, I could assist in testing but it wouldn't be fruitful if there isn't a working comparison. I'll just watch but I will post anything that would help you guys and I can also mod, repath, inject, etc. but I will not code migrane is not my friend (turtle).

@xzKinGzxBuRnzx, werbinich1235 RE: C&C .dat files
To view it you can use any hex octa editor/viewers but basic editing you may use hex editors but for this one you need to disassemble it then compile the resource again to get a .dat file you may use C/C++. Hard thing about C&C .dat files is the SECUrsedROM is all over you need to sum every byte just to get to the next function so that it'll go the next step for the game multiplied maybe around a hundred times before you get to the right values to skip, I hated doing this before and will never do it again see I don't wear glasses anymore hahahah.

@siberianspy
Please look into the files I mentioned above, you might find some info. there but I've also pondered on that before but it will still req. an auth. previous post reg. a virtserv to emu an auth. server may be a hole but we need the stamp or code it returns to emu a successful return code for a by-pass.

Correct, we need to log everything specially a successful return auth. if the ID matches the auth. from there we can make a test on a emu virtual server maybe on WAMP to run a php code to answer the reqest.

Wait I've been thinking this area as well but do make sure that you can monitor other files going in/out I suspect that there is more than just this. Remember on other games such as Mass Effect and the new EA games they've implemented checkpoints either during play, pre-launch or during update which uses the new versions of SukyouROM that checks local and server-side copy of your authentication.

We don't need php code, just simple xml file like
Code:
<?xml version='1.0'?>
<error code="LICENSE_NOT_FOUND">
<detail/>
</error>
If error code="" game crashes.

@psychophat
I forgor to read your previous post, sorry.
I can't find anything in securom_v7_01.dat but... there are 2 unopenable files with very strange names... I'll try to read them in linux...

Alternatives... so someone with legit ra3 key could sniff the response with wireshark as I said above(the EA server response is packet number 21 in my capture file)

EDIT:
I've foun something interesting in paul.dll:
Code:
GetRegistrationCodeFromRegistry: Unknown studio/product.Logo file %s not found..
Code:
Got the registration code from the registry [%s]

Which program are you use for open the dll?

Apologies I tend to update previous post to save posting. Anyway I'll be checking constantly for alternatives or until such time I can avail of a working key. But currently I'm more focused in the dat file of TW and the new ones for I'm trying to map the f****** checkpoints, though I will not promise anything reg. the .dat because I really hate :@ staring and thinking a lot of numbers at the same time that's why I switched professions a long time ago but I will never out grow playing pc games.

Dang, I keep forgetting to add EDIT:

EDIT:
@deoton
I would suggest giving up with paul, the beetles are no longer in this. Besides it's just a call ver. func. that I think is unfruitful for the new style they're playing req. multiple checks aside from the heap of security checkpoint trash on the .dat.

@deoton & psychophat:
Yes, if we delete paul then there's only a securom cracking...
@Szaby59:
HxD Hex Editor
@psychophat again:
I even replaced ra3game.dat with cnc3game.dat and mounted cnc3 mini-image. Result: skipped securom, paul, but this is cnc3 executable, not ra3 so this error:

@siberianspy
We can't do something like using other .dat files because it'll pull up wrong paths. I meant was I was cross checking into the points towards the flow of SekuwROng coded in the file ASM.

;) Well what we can do in between our tinkering is pray (angelic bg sound) that the cracking group gods would spare the word BETA and make a crack before the full comes out. But until then were stuck on our own little world called "The Path to RA3 Menu without the Annoying Security Check".

EDIT:
Wait, wait, wait . . . you've got something there I remembered I was thinking on doing this before but I was hesitant. Well maybe you or someone could play with this. IDEA: Create a perfect MDF 1:1 of your C&C 3 and then convert it to ISO replace the files with the RA3 installation files then convert it back to MDF, or shortcut modify the mini-image with the RA3 installation filename set and test it if it by-pass the CD/DVD check. If it doesn't work it will prompt for the missing or error kindly post it. But if it works then pack it down to virtual 0 MDF.

EDIT:
You may use MagicISO / PowerISO / UltraISO . . . play around with it.

One more path to down the road uncovered hope it's not a dead end.

When the game verifies the cd-key is it possible that it could be creating another file that would allow it to open etc. within the game folder? Cause in the crack for shadowrun, you had to delete srsw_shadowrun.dll and then add two new files into the directory instead of replacing files that where already there.
