Costume changer + full unlocker for super street fighter 4 aracde PC

Thank you for the awesome programs. They installed very easily, however i had a slight problem which is fixed easily enough. I like to use my arcade stick that i have for the wii(i know having a arcade stick for the wii sounds obscure but hear me out.) i have an adapter called "Wii clasic controller adapter" for my arcade stick so i can plug it into anything that has a usb port. for this to work in ssf4 arcade edition i have to use a program called x360ce wich basicly makes a .dll for a 360 controller.(thats the short version ) now everything was fine and dandy untill i tried your costume editor and unlocker, then all of a sudden after i press start the menu would scroll indefinitely. after messing around with it for a few minutes i figured out that you can simply remove the .exe's of the costume editor and unlocker from the street fighter base folder (keeping the image folder in place.) and it would work fine. so now you might ask how i got the programs to work without playing a little timing minigame everytime i logged in.... well you can edit the costumes with the image editor then move the exe somewhere else and launch the game press start alt+tab out of ssf4 move the unlocker into the base folder and use it(while ss4 is launched) without the main menu going crazy. sry for the wall of text but i figured there might actually be somone else out there with the same issue. it does not do this with just my 360 controller so if i had to point you in a direction on what is causing this i would say it is the xinput1_3.dll that x360.exe uses to imulate a gamepad. and again thank for the awesome programs.

I'm getting this problem with the unlocker, I have a retail copy of the game I downloaded from amazon.com I have tried running the unlocker as admin and the game I have used both retail and steam part of the unlocker but I keep getting this error
any ideas what could be wrong?

Yes cory make sure you put the unlocker.exe in the super street fighter 4 folder where you find the ssf4 .exe. the easiest way to find that folder is right click the shortcut for ssf4 and click open file location. thats where you want to put the unlocker and costume editor if you get it as well. and make sure the game is running when you launch the unlocker.... also there is no confirmation message when you click the unlock button so you will have to test it to see if it worked... (example; i launch the game hit start to get to the main menu, alt+tab to launch the unlocker and click unlock costumes, i then would go to training and select a character and make sure they have multiple costumes available.) also note that if you don't want to keep the folder where the unlocker is stored open you can right click the unlocker and click create shortcut and place the shortcut on your desktop hope that helps. also note that the unlocker does not unlock the alternate costumes you have to use the costume editor to switch to the alternate costume you want but after that you can still access the difrent colors of the costume. (example. i want cammies alt costume 2 with color 4 i use the costume editor to chamge her to the alt costume launch the game select cammy choose color 4 and it will be the actual color of the costume in game.) you can search in google for whatever charecter you wants costume colors and stuff easily enough or simply tr them out yourself.

So I did all that you said and it was no different then what I was doing before but I double checked everything. is it possible this is just out of date and wont work with the current version of SSFIV:AE

well lord asked in post 6 ,"Are you running the latest patch? Also running as admin in vista/win 7? As far as I can tell it doesn't matter if you had mods installed", so i would assume by the context of that post it is meant for the latest patch. but then again i could be wrong that's something he would have to answer.but i have seen amazon games having troubles with other trainers/unlockers on other forums for no particular reason other than the fact that they was downloaded from amazon.... and the only time i can trigger that error is when the unlocker doesn't have direct contact with the ssf4.exe or the game is not launched when i run the unlocker. otherwise it works fine besides the occasional malfunction of my arcade stick.... is your game titled super street fighter iv arcade edition or just super street fighter 4? if it doesn't have arcade edition at the end of the name then it is a different game and would cause this error as well.

oh and here is my exact setup so you can check to see if all files are in the right place, it never hurts to tripple check.
1. i am running win 7 64 bit (my game is running update 1 you can see what update you are running if you click the changelog.txt in the ssf4 root folder mentioned below. )
2. all file locations are in c:\Program Files(x86)\ R.G. Catalyst\Super Street Fighter IV (this is the default install directory for the game. if you are on 32 bit then your program files will not have the "(x86)" beside the name.)
3. i run the game in admin mode
4.i press start to get to the main menu where i see arcade mode training mode ect....
5. i then alt tab to run the super street fighter 4 unlocker.exe in admin mode. (i alos tried not in admin mode and did not receive the error.)
6. i choose retail (i also tried the steam version and i didn't receive the error the program just didn't unlock anything)
7.then click the unlock button for whatever i want unlocked
8. i leave the unlocker running in the background and play the game. (im not sure if it has to be left running or not i just leave it running cause it works and i have a theory of if it isn't broken don't fix it lol.)
note:there are also some additional things i do due to my arcade stick and having to run the x360ce program but that should not apply for you...)
note2: if you let me know what update you are on i will backup my files and get the update and see if i have the same problem and that will let us know if it is the update or not.
if none of that helps then it is out of my range of knowledge and you'll have to wait for lord to reply and i hope you get it to work cause this is really an awesome program

The Unlocker doesn't work with anything other then the 2nd patch from way back in 2011. There's been like 4 patches since then

I imagine if you look on the net somewhere there's a newer unlocker. The costume changer still works

Hi Thanks for the costume changer, it worked really well (except for 2 or 3 characters), but now I'm having a problem. I can't select the 1st (default) costume for any of the characters! It keeps saying "System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'G:\Games\CAPCOM\Super Street Fighter IV\resource\battle\chara\SKR\SKR_01.bsr' because it is being used by another process."

But I can select the other costumes no problem? What can I do to reset everything so I can go back to using Sakura's original costume? Do I have to reinstall the whole game now?

New Version of Costume Changer

Hi!

I've updated the Costume Changer to support the new challengers of the Ultra version, and the latest DLC costumes too. Some little tweaks added too.

I had to decompile the exe (I lost the sources some time ago... BTW I didn't know that this tool turned to be somehow popular!).

Find the latest version (sources and executable (in the "bin" folder)) attached. The .rar password is "xxx" (without the quotes).

Images are not supplied, you can use the ones in the old version. The new challengers and new costumes images need to be created.

any of you guys know how to add new costumes over 4 ? example Gouken has 4 in the total , can i add like 5,6 and 7 if i want ? and how to do ?
