Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection updated. It now includes both title updates. The first one in the installer listed as North AM update is for North American releases of the game. The second version of the update listed as Euro/JPN Update is for Europe and Japan releases of the game.
I have to look at the DOA Ultimate update, add a PAL title update to the Star Wars KotOR, and work on an update for the recent development of font fixes and a widescreen patch for Phantasy Star Online. So as always, more to come!
 
Couldn't quite find an answer anywhere else, so I was hoping someone could help. I'm attempting to transfer some DLC over using this method:

I'm trying to compile the Halo 2 DLC to transfer over, but I'm not sure which update folder to move the contents of into the $u folder for Halo 2, or where in the file structure to place the folders in "Saves" containing the additional game modes. I've seen multiple people saying version 5, so I'm guessing "u509" is the folder containing the correct update?
 
u803 is the newest English title update. Use that one if your game version is English. If your game is a different language release, let me know which.
Game saves go in E:\UDATA\4d530064\
Don't use the 4d53006400000004old folder, it's a different version of the same DLC in 4d53006400000004.

Awesome, thanks! One other question then, do the saves in UDATA need to be digitally signed via XBX Content Tool same way the TDATA does or does it only care about signing the DLC and updates in TDATA?

World Series of Poker update is now available. Thank you AnthonyBF2!
There was only 1 disc release of this game so this should be the only update for this game.
 
I found an ESPN NBA Basketball (2K4) roster update in a recently contributed console dump. It is now available for download. Get it before Jan 2nd as this title will be popping up on Insignia's next New Game Monday.
Due to the TitleIDs of the NTSC and PAL versions of this game being different, this roster will only work on the NTSC version of the game,

Hello, I am curious if anyone has gotten the TOCA 2 title update to work. I've tried it on my Xbox and only gotten a black screen. I've tested in 480i 4:3, using ind-BIOS and M8. Has anyone else gotten this one to work? I tried both the "HDD Ready" pack version and also dumped from iso just in case.

By the way, it looks like the link is down for the World Series of Poker title update. I was actually playing this game recently and it was freezing on me, so I wanted to see if it helped...
 
The World Series of Poker DLC link is working now, but after I install it, the game freezes on the copyright/legal text screen, after it plays the intro movies.


Okay, I got it to work by redumping the game, the "hdd ready" pack version wasn't working.

The Race Driver 2 title update will load and work properly if you play the game from an iso file. Because of one very long shader filename that gets truncated when ripping the game, it will not work properly when loading the game with the TU installed unless you patch the TU the same way you need to patch the base default.xbe to run off the HDD. I specifically mention most of this in the first post on that update.

I fixed the World Series of Poker update link. That was my mistake, sorry.

Ok, so I'm brand new to the xbox mod community and this website in particular.

I'm primarily interested in learning how to obtain and install DLC that I purchased once upon a time, specifically, the song packs for Karaoke Revolution Party.

So, where do I start? Where can I find that content and how do I go about installing it to my softmodded xbox?
 
The answers to your questions are all in the first two posts.
Download an installer, unrar it, FTP that folder to an app folder on your Xbox and run it as an application. The usage inside an installer is pretty clear.

New Counter-Strike installer uploaded with the real PAL title update. This one should be complete and never need an update now. Thank you Siktah!

As for Ea Sports roster updates I found all the madden I could find dude missing sept 27 for madden nfl 2005 , and final update for madden nfl 06. and just send madden nfl 07 complete set. you already got 08 and 09. working ea nhl series and nba live series next found two for NBA Live 2005 :) I doing one big pack this around I don't think nhl 2005 had any roster update due to the season had been locked out but will double check and see.
 
Hi, so I'm new here and I have tried installing a few DLC packages already but they don't seem to be working correctly. For SWON the missions work but there's no voices when people talk. And for Kotor when I leave the Ebon Hawk at Yavin I get a black screen after open the first door (which also doesn't make a sound). I've deleted and reinstalled the files via FTP multiple times and still don't have any luck. Xbox is 1.6 with rocky5s softmod. Running unleashedx. 2tb sata HDD. Both games are NTSC versions as is the console. Running games from HDD. XBOX and FTP client are set to DHCP. Client is also set to binary mode... Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance and thank you for your service to the community!
 
Because this is happening with more than one game this all sounds like an issue of data corruption between unpacking the installers and FTPing the console. If the DLC was not signed properly each game would tell you. Since the DLC is loading just broken that rules out a signing issue. Some troubleshooting steps:
Delete the installers off your computer and xbox HDD, delete the installed DLC. Unpack the installers fresh from the RAR files. FTP them over again fresh, install again fresh.
Try a different FTP client, make sure that FTP client is set to 2 connections (1 for file transfer, one for the initial connection), make sure it's transfer mode is set to binary.
Make sure your E drive is not full, you need some free space to install the DLC fully. Make sure the drive on your PC that you unpack the files to is not full.
If FTPing and installing is still failing, try burning a disc with a bunch of installers on it or use an RW disc and burn 1 installer at a time as xISOs to it.
Pull your HDD out of your xbox, connect it to your PC and check SMART data with CrystalDiskInfo.
I hope one of those suggestions helps.

Hmm. So I did all of that besides trying a different client and setting 2 connections. Going to give that a go right now and see if that works. Hopefully its a simple as that! Thank you for your swift reply and contributions to our community!
 
Rainbow SIx 3 installer updated with PAL German title update.
Added warnings that original Scharins map will cause compatibility issues for online play and moved it to a submenu.
Added title update compatibility information and warnings, moved the updates to a submenu to make the user read more of the warnings.

Installing either update and running the Korean or Japanese version of the game will cause the game to fail to load and can corrupt the installed update.
Make sure you install the correct update to match your version of the game.

BF1 DLC now works on my console with my version of the game, thank you :)

I see you still lack a version of the French battlefront 2 ? What if I kinda install the game of my console, rip it and then send it to you? Would it have all the data you need ?
 
I'm glad to hear you got it working.

I do have a French version of the game, what I need is the original title update downloaded from Xbox Live before it was shutdown. I understand high speed internet was exceedingly rare in France during the days of original Xbox Live so I know this one will be hard to find. Unfortunately until someone finds an Xbox that was on Xbox Live with that game with the France release of the game before the shutdown there's nothing I can really do.
