3DS GBA Save Backup and Restore with GodMode9

hey insanenutter, tried this today on my 2dsxl that i bought last year modded, i had no issues extracting and playing the save on pc, but after trying to re inject, no joy, it does work on mgba, i saved it from there and put it on the 2ds again, inject fail every time. the file is the correct size and it runs on mgba correctly. Not sure what im missing. Hope you can help

If is a Pokemon game, mGBA add some RTC related bytes to save. Try loading the save in another emulator like VBA and export it.
 
Its Fire Red, I tried running through a bunch of different emulators, mgba VBA and also somewhere else I was told that pkhex could help too, no matter what i did it didnt work, I took both files and put them side by side in a coding app and there was little difference, same numbers mostly and same size overall. I ended up downloading mgba on the 3ds itself and then forcing it to read the save file and that worked, as far as I can tell, GM9 fails with the new file and even importing the original save back to the virtual console version for some reason
