Aurora shows the right box art for every game only if each game has its asset file, and Aurora Asset Editor is how you make and edit them. It's a Windows program for creating and editing the assets Aurora uses for each game: box art, backgrounds, icons, banners and screenshots. Pull artwork from the Xbox.com marketplace or archive.org, or use your own images, and send the finished assets to your console over FTP.

Download Aurora Asset Editor v1.4.11
It needs the .NET Framework 4.8.

Tip: saving writes to the console, so if you've hand-made artwork you like, keep a copy of it on your PC first.

Download Aurora Asset Editor v1.4.11
It needs the .NET Framework 4.8.
- Unzip the whole download to a folder (the DLLs beside AuroraAssetEditor.exe have to stay with it) and run AuroraAssetEditor.exe.
- Make sure the console is on and on the same network, then enter its IP address and Aurora's FTP login on the FTP tab and load your game list.
- Pick a game, choose or download the artwork, and save it back to the console.
Recent changes:
- v1.4.11: an automated bulk downloader.
- v1.4.3: FTP results can be filtered by title or Title ID, plus a current-game selector, archive.org as an artwork source and an apply-all option for Xbox.com.
- v1.4.2: reworked marketplace parsing and image handling.
- v1.4.0: TLS 1.1 / 1.2 support, which fixed artwork downloads from Xbox.com that stopped working in older versions.
