Can't rip games from ISO

I was trying to use xbox image browser to extract a game out of a ISO but when I loaded the game it always hangs at the first loading screen. I tried wx360, another jtag, and I get the same problem. I burned a disc and copied the game files via FSD and it worked that way.

Is there any other program to extract files from ISO? Or some reason why it doesn't work?

As Rick says it takes apps like these a long time to do there business, especially if you have an older computer with a slow hard drive.
