glitch by 1up:
VideoSick of the 30-minute time limit in the Crackdown 2 demo? Of course you are. It's a good thing, then, that a Gamefaqs forum-goer randomly stumbled upon a way to put a stop to the demo's timer and play almost indefinitely. The process is pretty simple: Start up the demo normally, then quickly disconnect and reconnect your console to the internet (either by briefly unplugging its ethernet cable or by hitting the standby button on your modem) at the precise moment you press A to deploy your Agent. It should then ask whether or not you want to play without a connection to Xbox Live -- cancel out of that and try starting the game again. Assuming everything went right, the countdown clock should be frozen at 30 minutes.
There are some restrictions to keep in mind, however. Most notably, entering any of the rooftop or street racing missions will automatically end your session, so avoid those at all cost. Also, multiplayer apparently works just fine with this glitch as long as you set up your game so others can join.
Of course, if all that seems like a little too much work, you can always just wait a couple more weeks for the full game. It drops on Tuesday, July 6.
