I might come into possession of a PS3 that has had the YLOD soon. My question is, how long does it usually last after the fix? I've heard anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. So, before I put all the time into fixing this thing potentially every few weeks, I need to know how long the fix usually lasts from someone who has already fixed a YLOD'd PS3. ANy other tips on exactly how to fix it would be helpful too. I'm already using a guide on YouTube, but if there any really important aspects of fixing, it would be nice to know them.

I had a friend who did the fix around 2 months ago, his PS3 is still working as far as I know.
Just be careful, its so easy to totally kill a PS3 doing that fix. Be 100% sure you know what you are doing and take your time.
