Help , need info for buying a Ps3 or a Ps3 with cfw ?

Ok , most of you know that i have a xbox 360 . But i want to have a Ps3 as well .

What is better ?

Buy a normal Ps3 or should i buy a 2e hand Ps3 with cfw ?

The last quarter of this year was crazy , with all the new games that came out ...
Maybe a Ps3 with cfw is better , but then with cfw you can't go online ?

Btw , the 360 is a retail , no jtag . So , i can go online ( Xbox Live ) .

What do you guys think ?

If you have a jailbroken PS3 i dont think you can play a lot of the newer games unless you also buy a "True Blue dongle" from what ive read. This allow games that need firmware past 3.55 to work on 3.55 which is what you will have when jailbroken. (some games do have patches to work without any additional hardware).

Thats all i really know about that as i'm not really up to date with the PS3 scene.

Nope with CFW you can not go online at the moment, so if thats important to you then you would be better off been legit.

I would be tempted to go for a jailbroken console as the PSN does not intrest me, however you might have problems playing the latest games without that dongle.

PS3 + NOR Flasher. Then you could have CFW when you wanted homebrew and OFW for when you wanted to play online. Honestly online has no importance to me and neither does games over 3.55 (besides No More Heroes). My Cobra dongle for my PS3 is coming in within a day or so and honestly I think it's the best thing you could ever get for a jailbroken PS3.
