Missing HDFC partition

I swapped out for a bigger hard drive on my rgh years ago and have had the missing avatar thing. When trying to update I realise that I have no hddx partition for it to go in.

How can I get this back?

Have a look at this tutorial here: Upgrade a Jtagged Xbox 360's hard drive, restore the avatars and Xbox 1 emulator it shows how to restore the missing partition. It will erase your partition 2 though, so backup anything you care about on the hard drive before doing this.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't got the ability to burn a disc. I can use my external drive to use the files if they are available as a separate download. I saw the compatibility one nut not the partition part.

Are you able to extract them from the ISO? I can probably uploaded them separate if not. The ISO was ideal as you could boot XEX Menu from the Microsoft dashboard, then use that to restore Dashlaunch / your custom dash (if you had one) without having to use a PC to inject XEX Menu in to the hard drive.

Back then the MS dash didn't support loading things from USB, today you can achieve the same result with a USB drive however.
