Nintendo DS Save Game Backup Using The Nintendo 3DS [Easy Offline Solution]

Will this work for any DS game, or only Pokémon?
I’ll be using a New 3DS with the homebrew launcher on a micro sd. I’ve been looking for a way to backup my save of DQIX in particular.
 
Yes it should work for 99% of DS games, I believe theirs only a couple games that have issues.
