I tried it, Nothing, after hooking the ethernet cord back up and hitting connect to live the date changes back to what it was and it still doesn't go on LIVE.



To play burnt games, yes you need to flash it. Though if you don't know how to flash it, theres no way you'll be able to flash the key on it. Each drive has a key that goes with the console, even if the drive is flashed it still won't play games inless that drive is the drive it came with. So if you plan to buy another i suggest reading up on more infomation first. As Even I'm not that sure on how to flash the key. Just try cleaning it.

no that guy is actually telling the truth....in the firmware for your drive there is a key which starts at something to do with 4000 and goes on until 4200. (using a hex editor to copy and paste to new drives firmware) this key is what directly links your drive to your console and therefore you can't just wack in another drive without flashing it first(with legal firmware). however you won't get baned for this, because your flashing it with legit firmware

I’m not a 100% sure exactly how to do this, but there’s more required than just swapping the drive out and putting another in.

Not to redirect you away from Digiex but I think would get a lot more information by asking this on Xbox-Scene, a lot of people who have made discoveries on how to do stuff like that hang out on there.

Can I ask why not just send your 360 to Microsoft to get fixed? Even if you have a launch console your warranty doesn’t run out until next month I believe.

um, i called 2 days ago, and they told me that my warranty ran out about 2 months ago, and since this problem is not inclueded in the extended warranty i have to pay over $100 for it, ill just ask my dad if he can buy me a new one

EDIT: Right now im playing GTA San Andreas that I got from the Marketplace and i just beat the game (YaY first time ever) but i really want to play halo again

Don't try to sign in, more chance of you getting banned just unplug your ethernet cable and wait till the 19th, then download the update off xbox.com

hello there guys im new at this forum, and i was wondering where can i download the update from the xbox site? (i also dowloaded the leaked or beta w.e you wanna call it version of the new dashboard so as everyone im not gonna download it from live so thats why im asking where to download it exactly on the website) thank you ^^!

Anyone have an idea what the real NXE will be up for download? I know it's Wednesday but I mean a specific time? (Preferably UK time).

Whenever something new is added to the arcade is usually around 9am GMT time so I would guess around then in the UK.

Can’t really say for sure as no one has announced a time, I would say go about your day, come home and it should have been released.

So its confirmed that when we turn our xbox 360s online on wednesday, we can connect and downlod the update?

Cause I installed this yesterday without reading the thread I was excited all I know of is being offline.

I heard somewhere that "these members will not have an NXE Experience on Wednesday" but idk'
