Pokemon channel Australian Version

Hi,

Does anyone have a pokemon channel Australian version save file? I think I have everything I need to backup a save file, but I can only find PAL files which must be from england or something. I don't really know but I believe something was changed in the Australian release of pokemon channel as I cant seem to restore any of the files I can find on the internet.. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have a wii it may just make more sense to use the pal version of channel with that save file using nintendont. If the pal version has color issues and that is the reason why you don't wish to use it for example if I try to use pal it often is black and white. There is a setting on nintendont to force the video output to your television to be appropriate to your region. Also are you messing with the save file to enjoy channel or instead just to get a channel jirachi? If you're just trying to get a channel jirachi you have a number of other options even more if it doesn't have to specifically be from pokemon channel.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have a physical australian copy of the game. I just want to skip it and experience getting the chanel jirachi using my actual hardware. The PAL save files I found don't load using my Australian copy. I either need an australian save file or a way to change the PAL files to Australian somehow. I have a wii but I haven't used it for hacking

I suspect the save game is different in some way as the Australian version of the game looks to support English only:

You can region switch saves between NTSC-U / NTSC-J & PAL, however as the save is PAL already this would suggest the save format is different somewhat for the AUS versions. Like with Pokemon Box, if you region switch an NTSC save to PAL it will load that save, however crash the game when you next save.
