This Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs save game is ready to transfer the following Pokemon to Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold or Soul Silver (Any of the GEN 4 games).

  • Deoxys
  • Manaphy Egg
  • Heatran
  • Shaymin

In addition the save contains all the downloadable missions which it's no longer possible to download:

Special Missions
Deoxys and the Odd Temple
Protect The Blue Sphere
Investigate the Odd Eruption
Rescue the Lost Shaymin!

Extra Missions
Giratina's Griseous Orb!
Pledge To Arceus

Note: This save game has been tested with the US and European English versions of Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs, i'm not sure if it will work with other language versions of the game.

Note: The form of the Deoxys received depends entirely upon how the mission goes. This mission can only be done in multiplayer mode. Each mission has a group leader and the group leader is the only one to download the Deoxys.

Thanks for the save. EUR English guardian signs can transfer both manaphy and deoxys to Spanish platinum, so there's no region or language lock at all. Also, for EUR version, the game language depends on that of the console, so the save is compatible with any language, and since the EUR english and USA DS games are the same for DPP HGSS, the EUR game can transfer to all EUR and USA games.

The only "problem" is that the transfered deoxys wondercard is in the language of pokémon ranger's, I need to check if I can toss the card and receive it again in spanish (didn't know how to change language and already have a deoxys WC).

For some reason this is the only one that doesn't work for me...I open the game all fine then when I try to access rangernet or continue the game I get a black screen....

The other two were fine, used them with both UK and IT games, games always loaded in ENG, I think it's encoded in the save

EDIT: I found the solution, it's not related to the save, but to the fact that the game has AP protection. Needs patching

Can I do the deoxys mission now by myself?
Melonds and some desmume builds got some partial multiplayer support but I'm not sure if it's enough to play this mission.

If I'm not wrong this mission doesn't require to be connected to Nintendo server which got shut down but it needs another person with a DS to be close to you.
But I could be wrong

I tried to get this to work both with guardian signs and shadows of almia, I couldn't get either to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. It isn't the same issue Suloku had, instead it isn't loading any form of the saves.

Yes i believe so, I can't be 100% sure as these are not my saves. However they were stated to be downloaded from Nintendo WiFi back when they were distributed, I don't believe it was possible to edit these in to the saves back then.

Just adding on this, while all of the events were able to be legitimately obtained on the games, the time frame for that was quite limited, lasting around 2-3 months for each distribution and after that they were never repeated. Since 2010 however, there has been a mission injector that adds the missions to your Guardian Signs save and later to your Shadows of Almia save, since both had downloadable events.

You can look into the original thread on gbatemp here or you can just get the most recent reupload of the tool on Project Pokémon, I remember that I used the tool back on 2012 on my Shadows of Almia save since even though I bought the game on release week on 2008, I didn't have access to DS compatible Wi-Fi at my home and missed out on them.

Thanks for clarify, will/are the oblivia Pokemon still be considered as legit?

Yes, theirs no time limit on when the Pokemon could have been downloaded to your game. You will get a legit Pokemon now the same as if you had done this 10+ years ago.

Just want to point out that the saves have the incorrect size. The same applies to Shadows of Almia. To use this on real cartridges the correct size is 256 KB. My process was to find some saves at gamefaqs with .duc extension and convert to .sav. Putting the saves in real cartridges with an hacked 3ds worked like a charm!

Think you could post those converted saves here since a few people including myself were having problems with the saves originally posted here?
