I don't personally see the saves as being entirely necessary, like I mean, in the sense that you won't get Darkrai/Shaymin/Arceus without someone uploading the distro roms or the Wondercards online, but Manaphy you can obtain on your own by playing through the game and you don't need anything external.

That being said it's definitely nice to have completed saves around, if you want to save time and not have to play through Ranger. ;p

Is it true that there's only 1 egg per cart? I played the original game and it was hard as balls. And I could never get Manaphy from it. I only have Almia now. I love that game. I never got around to re-buying the original and purchasing the third game.
Yeah, in the original Ranger you could only send one egg. The game doesn't let you clear the whole save data, when you delete your save file it just deletes story mode and keeps Ranger Net data, so that people can't just restart over and over and get a bunch of Manaphy.
That being said, every homebrew save manager lets you wipe the save data entirely, allowing you to get more ;)

Not entirely sure about the others, I'd be inclined to believe that Ranget Net data doesn't get wiped either and you could only download the missions once/send the Pokémon once.

(And yes lol, I agree the original Pokémon Ranger was pretty hard compared to the latter two, which added mechanics that made it a little bit easier, but it's also a lot more fun because it adds more depth.)

Just a question: Are these saves ''legit''? Meaning the downloadable missions were downloaded when they were available or were these missions injected with the mission editor?
Doesn't really matter tbh, it distributes the same thing to Gen. IV in the end.

Sure, it doesnt matter that much, but i would still like to know whether these were injected or not.

Their not my personal saves, I don't even like the ranger games in all honesty. However the saves were obtained before any mission injectors for the respective game were released (i believe).

The saves were dumped with an Action Replay Max.

Just for some extra info, we have had two independent dumps of this rom.

The first dump was from ktfdemo111 a few days ago, today we received a second dump from YoshiMoshi today. The SHA1 of both dumps are the same (meaning everything is identical).

Sounds like they used the exact same distro carts for the Toys'R'Us distribution than they did for the Nintendo World Store one.
Also, this distro works from May 31st to June 14th 2008. I assume that Bulbapedia is simply wrong about the distribution ending on the 30th, because the article linked on Bulbapedia states that "The event will last through the middle of June."

Thanks for the answer. But you are still unsure, or? I know it doesnt matter that much and most of you dont even care about it, but i do.

I was replaying Pokemon Platinum, and to my surprise, the cart does NOT work with it. I'm surprised I didn't catch this when originally tested the cart.

*Edit* I just realized that it was already pointed out. I was just scrolling through the form and only noticed the picture

@Professor Oak I recently discovered this collection of distribution dumps and I love it, thanks!

Is there somewhere the rom of EUROPEAN Darkrai Alamos distribution?

Not at the moment, the best you can do for that is inject the wondercard in to your save game. It will be the same end result, just a bit more effort.

Ok, I went to Italian Pokémon Day 2008 where it was distributed, so I still have the original Italian Wonder Card.

I'd like to have distribution ROM just for personal collection. I hope somebody will find it in the future!

Thanks
