The two distributions use the same wonder card ID (0019), so if you have redeemed one you can't redeem the other. If you want to do this, you have to dump your sav file and then use a save manager (PKHeX) to delete the ID in the Mystery Gift "received list".

If you know how to backup, edit with PKHeX, export and restore a save file, it's safe.

Obv the first rule when you use a save manager is to keep a clean backup of you save file in a safe place, so you can restore it in case something goes wrong.
