Depending on where Portal 2 was preorderd several exclusive custom skins were available.

Bot Roll Cage - Customers who preorder Portal 2 at GameStop received an exclusive customized skins for the co-op bots Atlas and P-body.

Bot Paint Job - Customers who preorder Portal 2 at Amazon.de (Germany) or CDON.com (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland) received exclusive customized skins for the co-op bots Atlas and P-body.

Bot Antenna Topper - Customers who Preorderd Portal 2 at fnac.com (France), Webhallen (Sweden), Alcom (Swiss) or Softridge (Swiss) received exclusive customized skins for the co-op bots Atlas and P-body.

How to use:

Note: For jtagged consoles only

1. Unzip the content
2. Copy the files and folders in to the Content\0000000000000000 on your Xbox 360's hard drive.
3. Play the game and the new content will be available from the pipboy

As you are American you likely got the customized skins for the co-op bots Atlas and P-body, depending on where you preorderd you got different customized skins.
