Problems updating my xbox 360

Hey,


I have problems updating my xbox360. I wanted to play a backup game of SSX. I wrote the game on a disc, inserted in my xbox360. I needed to update my console to play this game, so I did the update. But now I always get this error message:


System update stopped
Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue the update.
If the problems persists, visit www.xbox.com/support
Status code: 3151-351F-B800-0F00-C000-0034


This is the software I used:
abgx360 1.0.2
360GamesPatcher 3.0.5
ImgBurn 2.5.5.0


The game SSX I patched with 360GamesPatcher from Wave 13 to Wave 3 and burned to a disk with ImgBurn. Then I saw that the game was runnable on my xbox360. So I started it...


In this thread 'Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 2.0.13599.0 with Avatars Download Final' I saw a possible solution for my error message, but they say that after the update, I can't play backup games anymore. Which isn't very helpfull for me. What other solution can I do?


In the past I could play Mortal Kombat without problems. I patched the game with 360GamesPatcher from Wave 11 to Wave 3, and burned to a disk with ImgBurn. Then I could play the game on my xbox360.


My xbox360 MDR Drive: 2007 07 11
I only play offline, most of the time single player. So I don't need any xbox live.

You need to retrieve your drive key & flash your dvd drive to stock firmware,update then flash to the latest firmware available.

I don't know how to do that.. I just this xbox from a friend, but I don't know to flash...


But I tried this:
Updated to abgx360 1.0.6 and downloaded Wave 13
Check my iso with abgx360.
Then used 360GamesPatcher 3.0.5 to patch to Wave 3, and then burned it on a disc.


When I put the disc in my xbox I get always this message:


System update stopped
Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue the update.
If the problems persists, visit.....

Dashboard update 13599 will either a. reflash the drive and update fine leaving the drive not able to play any burned games or b. leave you with an error.

Maybe your friend can do what i posted for you to do, there is no way around it.
