With so many R4 clones its a bit of a minefield, usually the shop you purchased it on will have a link to the latest firmware.

The Wood Firmware can be used as an alternative on some cards to remove the time bomb: https://forum.romulation.org/threads/wood-r4-the-new-firmware-99-8-compatibility-ck3.39701/ if not you need to keep updating the firmware or setting the DS's date back to when the card works.
