I have had my dual nand RGH 360 for about a year now and has been working flawlessly. I havent used the RGH mode for a while and tonight selected the RGH Nand to use. Upon bootup after a few seconds i got a grey screen with white writing and i think an error code of E71, i turned the 360 off and back on again at which point the internal fan was really loud and nothing happen on the 360 so i turned it off again, left it for about a minute and now when i try and turn the 360 on i get the power on audio sound (ding) but no light comes on on the 360. If i turn back to retail nand mode the 360 works fine any ideas what up with the RGH nand side of things??

Thanks InsaneNutter, but i dont appear to be able to get the console to boot into xell, as when i hold down the eject button on the 360 when in RGH mode nothing happen apart from getting the audio sound, its the same if i press the power button the console doesnt power on.

Someone suggested that the RGH nand might have become corrupted and need to make a new hacked nand from your retail nand and write it to the the RGH side. But i have completely forgotten everything to do with flashing nands on the system as i have only ever done it once and that was ages ago. is there a guide that explains set by set how to make a new hacked nand??

Have a read of: Jtagged or RGH Xbox 360 Easy Update You can probably start from part 3.

If you have a backup of your existing hacked nand use that as the source and XeBuild GUI should pick all the best settings for you. The only thing you need to change is the cfldv value.

The grey & white screen youre getting is the red ring not displaying properly,E71 is definetly a nand issue.I assume you are using a TX Demon?,dump stock/retail nand through the demon/dual nand device then update it properly through jrunner, then flash it back to the RGH nand with the demon/dual nand device.

No need to change the LDV because youre dumping the nand from the stock nand on the update you want.
