RGH Xbox format problem

Hi,

I've had an RGH'd falcon for a couple of months now and naturally I've filled my 60G internal hard drive. I read through a guide on here about upgrading the internal drive and bought myself a 500G laptop drive.

My problem is that in the NXE dash, the hard drive is recognised, but the console doesn't do anything widen I press format.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thats very strange, what dashboard are you on?

Only thing i can think of suggesting upgrade to the latest dash and see if that helps.

I'm already running the 14699 dash. The weird thing is if i go to format my current 60G hard drive, it seems fine (asks me if i'm sure i wan to format or not). I've tried two different laptop drives now and neither seem to want to format.

Any ideas?
