I have a jtagged jasper which I have had for a while, and just recently updated to latest dash, also latest freestyle dash and dash launch , everything seems to work as it should.
but a couple of days ago I decided to but a new 1tb hard drive as my existing 500 gig is out of free space.
The problem I have I cannot format the new drive, I have a spare original hard drive enclosure which I fitted it into but when I remove my old 500 gig and connect the new drive then go to settings then storage , nothing happens it just comes up with a white screen and the busy circle and will not recognise any storage devices, it even does this if there is nothing connected but the weird thing is if I then connect my original 500 gig with freestyle etc it will work ok.
So I have no way of formatting the hard drive, I have tested the 2.5 drive in windows and can sucsessfully format to ntfs or fat 32 no problems any ideas would be appreciated.
