Snes360 V0.32 Beta - Super Nintendo Emulator for Xbox 360 (No Achievements Patch).
This will require a JTAG or RGH hacked Xbox 360 to run.
Download Snes360 0.32 Beta (No Achievements)
Snes360 is Lantus's emulator. The normal build hands out its own unofficial achievements, and if those sync to Live you get banned, which has caught people who didn't know it had them. This one has them taken out, so you can't earn any and it's safe on a profile you use on Live. Thanks to Fryflex for the idea and the testing of the patch.
Features
- Graphics/Sound
- Achievements: gone in this build (don't be a dumbass and use the normal one on live, you'll get banned)
- XUI user interface
- SRAM save support linked to a user profile
- Filters : Simple2x, Scanlines, TV Mode, Super Eagle, Super 2xSAI, HQ2x, and now EPX
- Turbo Mode (Right Trigger)
- Aspect Ratio/Stretch Mode support
- SaveStates (currently 1 per rom)
- Previews
- Menu background music. Swap media\sounds\background.mp3 for anything you like, and Right Shoulder switches it on and off
Changed since 0.21
- Graphics glitches fixed in Metroid, Donkey Kong Country and others
- Aspect ratio setting now saved properly
- It's an extracted xex now, not a Game On Demand package
Usage
Copy the folder to your console, HDD:\Emus\Snes360\ or a USB stick, and launch Snes360.xex from your dashboard. Already on 0.32? Just copy the new Snes360.xex over the old one.
Roms go in the Roms folder next to the xex (GAME:\ROMS\) or in USB0:\ROMS\. To add more places, edit settings.xml and add a MappedDrive line for each folder. Valid devices are GAME:, USB0:, USB1:, USB2:, DVD:, HDD:, MEMUNIT0: and MEMUNIT1:.
The PreviewPath tag will specify where you want your Preview Images to be stored. Default is hdd:\EMUS\SNES360\Preview\
Toggle through each device by pressing R-Shoulder in the Rom List.
Both sticks during game will pause the current rom and open up the In Game Options
Still to do
=====================
- Favorites support
- Cheat support
- IPS support
Notes
This is still a beta, so it may crash in some spots.
Older version: Snes360 0.21 Beta
