Step by Step Guide to purchasing Games from US Xbox One Store from any region

It should be, i purchased a game by switching my region to the US. I have since switched it back to the UK and everything works fine.

i've just purchased titanfall for £15.46

method:

1. transfer funds to your UK paypal account
2. go to pcgamesupply.com and purchase a xbox gift card
3. change my xbox system location to US
4. redeem the digital code received by email
5. purchase funds using microsoft account balance

you might be able to skip step 1 but it wasnt that much longer for me to add the funds into my paypal.

Just bought another gift card, $50 from pcgamesupply.com and was able to pay straight from my UK paypal, skipping step 1.

Hi, do you need a us billing address to use when using pre paid codes?
i cant use my card or paypal and dont have any friends in america who's address i can use.
i have bought $15 to test is i can redeem the code but im scared to commit to another $50 then find out it wont let me purchase destiny (pre-download) becuase of my shipping address

Thanks for the guide, I'm gonna give Destiny a go. Pisses me off the US version of the game is £40 cheaper than the same UK version...
Wonder how the pre-load would work and if it beter to wait untill its launched.

I just tried pcgamesupply. Won't let me buy more than 1x $50 card as it exceeds my daily spending limit.

No i don't believe you do, however i had added one when trying to pay directly with PayPal. Worst case scenario you can look on Google Maps... ;)

Yes, you still need to add an address on your console during "Check Out" when buying with codes. At least I had to enter an address, phone number, etc last night when I used pre-paid codes.

Will this option work for me? im in the uk and all i have is a paypal account.

If im reading your post correctly

I should transfer money from my bank account into paypal.
Go to that website pcgamesupply.com and buy xbox gift card
Go to my xbox and change my region/location fro, UK to US
Redeem the code that i received in the email
Buy what game or content I want?

The guy who you quoted said you need to change the xbox.com location to US and have a billing address for america, Did you do that before you done all the steps?
Can i ask are you from the uk?

Is this the correct steps to get this working ??

Create an account on*pcgamesupply.com*and link to my uk paypal account (do i need a us address for this?)
Buy a xbox gift card
Change my xbox system location to US
Redeem the code received by email
Buy game using microsoft account

Do I need to add any other things? In the thread some people are saying create an American billing account via one of the links provided. Do I also need to create one if I'm using PayPal and redeeming.

What about HK market ? It should be cheaper than the US and games are in english too
I can't wait to get my advance warfare console to try these things !
 
The Xbox One is not out in Hong Kong until 23.09.14 so its impossible to say.

However if we look at Xbox 360 games such as South Park The Stick of Truth you are right, the games are certainly cheaper in Hong Kong.

HK - $25
US - $30
UK - £50 ($82)

For the price we pay here in the UK you could buy the game 3 times in Hong Kong...
 
Hi all , i realy enjoy reading the whole artical and posts.i have the next problem a want to buy xbox one but i live in non-supported xbox one country, and i m afraid that it will not work at my country, i m not interest about services just gamin and online gaming. In the post i read that this works for all regions.Can somone confirm that this works in a not supported region.Thanks ALL.
 
The console will work fine anywhere in the world, you just obviously will have to buy your games on the internet.
Or use this guide, choose a region then buy some pre paid cards so you can digitally download games.
 
Thx microsoft will have to give percent of my purchase xbox one :) because i search 3 days and nowere i can't find answer evry were says that ip will be rejected by xbla service thx very much again
