Wii U BackUp questions

Hi I have a wii U with 40+ backups installed via wup installer. Im wondering if its possible to unplug the hard drive and play it on a new console. Or will i have to reinstall each game?

You will have to re install each game on the new console, this is because the new console will not have a licence for the games.
