Remember when Winamp was the first thing you installed on a new PC? Version 5.9.0 is the latest release of the classic player: skins, plug-ins, the graphic equaliser and a playlist editor that still holds up. It plays MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG and more, and the old skin and plug-in ecosystem still works with it.

Download Winamp 5.9.0
Run Winamp590_9999_final_full_en-us.exe and pick the components you want in the installer. Once it's open, press Alt+P for the preferences and point it at your music library.
Tip: the installer lets you untick the extras you don't need, so look before you click Next. If you'd rather stay on the older build, Winamp 5.66 is still here.
