Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 2.0.13145.0 BETA Download

Guys, I'm very scared. I've also tried to flash my LiteOn to its original stock firmware but putting 2.0.13145.0 dashboard even on cd
or pendrive, doesn't allow me to update my console properly from my actual dash (2.0.13142.0).
I don't know what else I can try for having a successful update of my dashboard.

Any help would be highly appreciated. :(

I don't want to be a boring guy but I hoped to see something fixed today. I was wrong. :(

For those interested I've successfully extracted all new firmwares included in the last beta dashboard.
It would be nice if someone could help me to understand how and where I can put my drive key on
those new dumps. :)

Do you have the new firmware for the lite on 74850c? I'm having the same problem as you. I am in the beta. I upgraded to the new beta and reflashed my drive back to lt+1.1. Now I can't get the latest update from the beta. I think we need to flash back to the beta firmware update to get it to work.

Also I believe that they found out that the new firmware is NOT zeroing out the DVD key. They seem to believe that it is a problem with Jungle Flasher. Take a look here..
"So it looks like it's how JF is interpreting the drive firmware. 1.67 doesn't know what a 0251 is so think it's a spoof OSIG . I checked 0xA030 in a hex editor and the key's there. "

Hope this helps out.

I think the biggest problem is going to be that the dashboard update from 40 up is supposed to reflash on install and then if they havent got it working yet its supposed to reflash every time on system start up, I dont have a modded console to verify it and the only drive that I have modded is in my jtag and its a samsung (launch console) so its not getting updated to find out (jtag still on 9199 dash)

Wouldn't reflashing the drive on every reboot be a little risky for MS?

My brother has a flashed console,im not sure if his console will be banned after the update time will tell.

LITEON 93450 I do not encrypt the key in the new dash - Team Xecuter

Hi mate, your post is wonderful. I've successfully upgraded my console to 2.0.13145.0 :D (at last).

I can confirm you I'm able to spoof key.bin on new Microsoft firmwares coming from the new beta dashboards using JungleFlasher 1.67.
It's easy to do. You've to open original Microsoft firmwares dumped from xex (oddupd1.xex for example) as the Target firmware
(if you open is as the source firmware it won't recognize), then I've chosen "Manual Spoofing", I loaded key.bin and voilà.
New LiteOn firmware stock with the correct key. I've flashed it and put on my x360 and it reads originals (of course) like a charm.
Then I've put my pendrive with 2.013145.0 update. It says a new update is available and this time it did it with no errors at all.

I'm very happy. ;)

I have two issues with the first post here. It seems like rumours and speculation have gotten the best of a lot of people for these new dash updates.

1) AP2.5 checks are NOT enabled for all games now. This was random speculation by someone who assumed his boot failures were AP2.5 problems because the console exhibited similar behaviour. This has since been shown to be completely false, his dvd drive was flashed with a new stock firmware by the update. In fact half of the current AP2.5 games have the patches removed, only the original 4 games (Fable III, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, etc) still have AP2.5 patches and they're even new patches. Thats the only AP2.5 changes.

2) The new update is not flashing ALLL dvd drives, it's just flashing Benq's, and Lite-ons. There have been a few unconfirmed reports of Hitachi's being flashed, but there haven't been any for Samsung. So if you have an older drive, you're probably safe from the reflash. This information has been confirmed by Team Xecuter or by c4eva as seen on c4evaspeaks.com

Can you email me the beta firmware so I can do that also? I sent you a PM.

Thanks!

Note: For anyone having trouble download the beta update (if your in the beta) It might have something to do w/ your hardrive.. I finnally was able to download it by formatting a USB stick and allowing it to download w/ only the x360-enabled usb stick in.. now im on XBL! =DD

Trying that now. I hope it works. I did replace my stock 20g with a 250g using the hack guides out there.

Edit - Same error without the hard drive installed.
