Help! I just installed the update on my 360 and i am getting disc read errors no games will start so far i have tried The orange box, Xbox magazine cover disc and la noire and they all have the same issues is this a known issue and a little bit of info on my 360 it is a phat model and it has the falcon chipset it is not modded in any way and has still got a warranty sticker

can anybody help I did have version 2.0.14686.0 Beta and that worked fine

this beta is ridiculous for games that are burnt using truncate method. If I play AC: rev installed it refuses to play either by saying unsupported disk or authorization failed notice after a couple of minutes of play. The workaround is to play the game on disk. It just runs smooth and fine then.

 

The dae.bin was updated so that's why you get errors.There is a new lt+ coming out to bypass those errors.

 

As for the most part, you can get around the error by just having the newest title update. That being said it should be on the hard drive if possible or it will keep getting the "Unsupported Disc" error. Of course if you can't do that, you can inject the TUs to a flashdrive and remove the hard drive so the 360 checks the flashdrive for TUs. If it can find one then it should boot right up rather than getting the unsupported disc error.

 

guys, to point out my problem: I was having occasional "Unsupported Disk" pop-up while I was on 13604 update with AC: Rev. The game was installed and ran fine. After having been updated to 14686 beta the game boots, I get into the free roam, and then at around 45 seconds time of play, I get the "Failed to authorize the Disk" pop-up and the console restarts. Then I uninstalled the game off the storage device (it's a 16 GB Flash memory) and the game runs just fine. I also tried the TU Method, but of no vail. Any idea behind this behavior? The rip was burnt using the truncate method with Imgbrn 2.5.6 on a verbatim dual layer.

 

wait for a new lt+ fw & new abgx and games should work fine

hi can anybody help (again) i have no avatars they still show the grey ones and not mine and if i try to launch the editor it says that i need to update to use it i did have the old avatar editor on my hadddrive though

do you have your HDD formatted in FAT or FAT32? And you got the $systemupdate map in the root folder?

 

you can also remove the dashboard update by using this in the memory section (LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X) then use the usb
