Ive also done that, several times :/


When I remove my HDD, it gives me this message " Can't find USB blablabla " So I remove the USBstick and put it in again and press continue but then it gives me the same old "Can't update"


Can it be that the 2 front USB ports doesn't work when updating like this? I know there is a port on the back, but my stupid usbstick doesn't fit through the opening. Should I really buy a new USB (smaller) just to try the USBport on the back?

edit; Just tried the back USBport with an cord-extender.. Didn't work


edit2: I burned the update on a dvd-rw and it actually worked! Sweet!
 
i have a modded xbox 360 and update my console from here my last system update version is $SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955 now i move on to the next one is it save for me? i haven't connect my console to live and i have ixtreme 1.5.1 plz tell me is there any issue goes on to me when i further update my console?
 
i have no patient to wait ur response i just updated my console and guess what is went fine gives no problem thanks for sharing :)

You couldn't have waited a day? Most of the Digiex admins have been/are really busy of late and I only manage to come onto the forums for the few minutes I have each lunchtime at work! Please can you not be so rude in future even if you have no patience? Glad to hear you sorted the problem out yourself anyway!
 
yeah i apologize for that! i was so worried about FF13, i was stuck and i need a quick solution! and i haven't a xbox360 hdd connector so! that's why i didn't wait for ur response. but in future i wont be rude :) and wait for ur response. i hope my this act didn't hurt u a lot :)
 
i got a jtag console with this dashboard but i have no avatar each time i try to create one it keeps telling to update will this allow me to create an avatar
 
I had a flashed xbox 360 with dashboard 8955 but the hdd was cripple and therefore couldnt play. So I updated it to the 2.0.9199.0 and I made back up of a new xbox game but is not working. So my question is this did update 2.0.9199.0 unflash my xbox dvd drive?
 
Nope updates do not unflash dvd drives. you most likley burned a bad backup, although Digiex is not the place to discuss pirating games.

So what was wrong and how did you fix it? even if you are banned this update should re enable hard drive installs.
