Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers

Ah yes, it was this particular thing missing.

I've asked to my circles, if anybody had a save of said update/DLC and to no avail yet sadly. But if I get any answer anyday, you'll get news from me.
 
Counter-Strike JTAG Update updated with the real PAL title update.
MechAssault DLC updated with a full set of XBE Region 4/PAL set of DLC. 4 of them were sourced from Xbox Live. All 4 of these match their Region 1/NTSC equivalent DLCs, the only difference being the metadata file. The other 9 were generated from the Region 1/NTSC DLCs to work on XBE Region 4/PAL consoles. Players with consolses set to XBE Region 4/PAL can now play MechAssault with all the DLC without having to change to change their XBE region. No more compatibility issues with PAL games. You can install both sets of 13 DLCs but that would just be a waste of space. I recommend installing just the DLC that matches the XBE region of your console. Fortunately MechAssault is a unique case and no other titles should be this difficult to deal with.
I also included a text file of the DLC descriptions I sourced from Xbox Live and Xbox.com around 2008.

Special thanks to the team of Australian Xbox gamers who helped test and verify this installer, and to HoneySoakedSeagull who provided the only Region 4 DLC ever archived for MechAssault.
 
I didn't have either of those sets of patch notes before today. EXCELLENT find! Thank you!
I'll include both of them in future installers like I did for Unreal Championship 1.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about the Burnout 3 TU changelog, but if you find it I'll be happy to include it with a future installer.

Is there a changelog for the Burnout 3 TU out there? I've also noticed that the DLC maps in UC2 don't show up if the profile was made before installing the DLC (or TU), maybe that information will be useful to someone.

Good afternoon, I would like to see if you can help me (sorry for my bad English, I am using a translator) I play classic xbox games on the xbox 360, today I tried to change the id of star wars kotor 1 for the id of black, I was motivated to see if I could play star wars kotor at 1080p since black has that function in 360, when doing so it actually worked, kotor can now be played at 1080p, but now it does not recognize the dlc, I tried renaming the dlc folder by placing the black's id, but when doing that now it says that the dlc is damaged, do you know any way to make the dlc point to the new id?
 
You may just need to move the items from the TDATA\4C410003\ folder into the TDATA\45410083\ folder on the Xbox compatibility partition. It might be automatically recognized. Every game behaves differently though.
If that does not work, please contact me again and I can try to make a new contentmeta file just for the new ID for you.

Hello friend, try this process of moving the content from TDATA\4C410003 to TDATA\45410083, having the change in the default of the kotor with the id changed to 45410083, correctly review the content of the 4C410003 folder to discard and change the name in an internal folder that it has as 4C4100030000011 for 454100830000011, however when it starts it says that the dlc is damaged, I don't know if somewhere in the dlc there is a file that must be modified to take the new name?
 
I'll generate you a new contentmeta.xbx file when I have a bit of free time. You'll have to sign it the same way you sign other Orignal Xbox DLC on 360.

Sorry for the long delay.
Download this, sign it with FeudalNate's tool, put it in the Black DLC directory since you're using the Black titleID.
Grab the title update default.xbe, modify it with your new titleID, then replace the original game titleID with it.
Please let me know if it works.

Hi! I've been banging my head against this issue all night trying to figure this out, I'm wondering how to get the halo 2 dlc to work on my xbox 360 rgh. I'm puzzled on where to put the files at.

It doesn't really matter where providing its on the internal hard drive.

Unzip the files and copy them to the Xbox 360 internal hard drive.
Open the default.xbe for the DLC installer with a file manager such as XEX Menu, you can then install the content.
The installer with sign and install the content to the location it needs to be in.
 
What InsaneNutter said. If the Update installer does not launch, or crashes, use the JTAG update. It's just the Update portion of the installer.
 
Darkwatch Update installer updated to denote the update only applies to the North American/NTSC version of the game. Optional 480p patched title update also included.
Outlaw Golf 2 Update installer updated to denote the update only applies to the North American/NTSC version of the game.
 
I am having an issue with the Battlefront DLC,
Jabbas palace in particular.
I load it onto my xbox, fire up the game, set a game mode that includes Tatooine: Jabba on the playlist and the game locks up during loading.
 
You either do not have a title update installed, or have the incorrect title update for your version of the game installed.
 
The current version of the installer has spoofed updates for all regions we don't have a real update for.
Once you figure out which version of the game you have, you can just install the correct update for that copy.

Ok, so I tried 12 different English copies found from a variety of sources, both American and European,
a French copy
and a Japanese copy
none worked, all locked up when trying to start a system link game using Jabbas Palace as the only map.

The French and Japanese copies did not have their menus changed to English after updating, so maybe something is not copying like it should on my Xbox?
 
If no title update is loading at all then you either have not installed it, or files are being damaged as they are copied over.
If you are using a USB transfer method, don't. Use FTP instead. In your FTP client, make sure your file transfer mode is set to Binary.

If you are using an older installer, delete it and redownload it. If you are using XBMC4Gamers I can't really help because I don't which content is included and if it's up to date or not. Use an up to date installer from the first post here.

If you're just dumping files into your TDATA folder without using the installer, don't do that either, the DLC and updates need to be signed to work.
