Info on the Xbox One 6.2.10210.0 (xb_rel_launch 131118-1159) Launch Day Update​

This is the first update for the Xbox One system and includes the full operating system, the update was available at the Xbox One launch and is required before the Xbox One can be used for anything.

To find your Xbox One console’s operating system version:

• Press the Xbox button to return to Home.
• Press the Menu button and select Settings (or select Settings on the Home screen).
• Select System.
• Select Console info.
• Your operating system version is the third row down.
• Note If you’re in the middle of a system update and need to find your operating system version on your console, pull both triggers and both bumpers on the controller. The operating system version is listed as Build and is the second line down.

Got to say, this post was a gargantuan help to me. My Xbox One was DoA with the GSoD. I ran the factory os from the other post first, then ran this update immediately afterwards and have been enjoying Forza 5 since. Thanks for being the only hoster on the internet with this xD

I didn't personally it was put live and taken down during the night here, however I knew someone who had downloaded it and got a copy.

I managed to fix my stuck at 79% 105mb left to download error when updating the Xbox One Day One Update.
Using 6.2.10210.0(xb_rel_launch.131118-1159) on the USB didnt work for me gives me a power on then a power off sound, not double power on sound.
Still doesn't work if i unplug kinect.
Tried with 6.2.9781.0(xb_rel_flash1307.130829-1800) on the USB got two power on sounds!!
Then it sat on the green xbox one screen, then it rebooted and gave me a bar with a green progress line on it. then it rebooted and gave me the xbox one screen then went into the update process now its ALIVE!!

That's great to here, glad it got your console working again! Does everything such as Xbox Live work normally?

For the most part, everything is working flawlessly. Xbox Live has the occasional glitch, but it's most likely just Microsoft's servers being bombarded with all the new Xbox One owners.

Also, a tip to anyone trying to use the update: I found it's a lot easier to update it when you have the Xbox on its side in your lap, then use one hand to hold the Xbox up and hold the sync button, then use the other hand to hold the eject button and tap the power button.

Please do not spam this thread with multiple replies saying the same thing, also the person who was apparently banned for this was actually banned for owning a stolen Xbox
