What is Aurora?

With Aurora we went back to the core of what a dashboard should do, which is launch your titles, and look fancy while doing that.
Aurora boots straight into the title list and uses filters and sort instead of predefined tabs.

Features:

• Lua scripts for filters, sort methods and subtitles
• Support locale files to translate the dashboard and skin

• Quick browse game list

• Manage your game list when your devices aren't connected
• And of course fully compatible with Freestyle Plugin (LiNK) and the new and improved Unity website.

Disabled features in alpha:

• View Previews / achievements / related content

Aye oop Nutter... Hope your doing well, it's been a long time

Have you tried this on one of your consoles yeah?... I realise freestyle isn't supported anymore so no more updates but what are the advantages with Aurora?... I haven't tried it yet but from what I've seen (apart from a more 'sparkly' front end) it offers the same if not less funtionality.

Please enlighten sir?

Same thing different name really i believe, it does all the core things, such as launch games and connects to link so you can play online.
I tested it out and it seems pretty nice, however i just use the MS dash so i couldn't really tell you much more.

Yeah I tried it out yesterday and yes I agree it does look nice but maybe because the project is still in its infancy at the moment it's a step backwards compared to freestyle.... It's like 'freestyle for dummies' lol

I mean pffft no weather widget... nuff said! :lol

I use it as it lets you loads trainers from the boot screen and gets game updates pretty smoothly too, it is on version 0.4b now though
