I think the servers stuck, It's forever loading 'gritwind' with no players on, maybe a reset please?

'AtomicSands' and new map
Hello,
Some players don't like the map 'AtomicSands'.
Satin asked me to increase the time before tanks respawning.
I'll do it.
But before, I'd like to know if other players have ideas for changes.
New map : very hot for winter time. 'VCTF-Subduction'

Hmmm, interesting request from Satin re: AtomicSands. I like the map the way it is, but I'm always open to trying out new mods.

Ive added the VCTF-Subduction map uploaded by Gorge, ill have a look at the Santa hat mod when i get chance as it is Christmas soon

Ha, I figured someone might ask me about that.
I play on Windows XP installed on a partition on my 20" iMac 7.1 (specs). I didn't expect UT2004 (or Windows) to run as smoothly as it does, frankly.
It's rarely crashed, even though I'm able to set graphics & sound configurations to 'maximum'. I can't imagine UT2004 running any better.
Although I do wonder sometimes if I would play better with a mouse other than my infamous Apple Mighty Mouse. *-)

I bought parts, and I assembled them (early 2007) :
motherboard Asus P5K, cpu Intel Core2 6420, ram Corsair 2MB, Radeon X1950 256MB, mouse Logitech G3, Windows 7 (oct 2009)
In UT2004, all display settings max. Mouse settings default.

Hello,
Some players have noticed that one can no longer tweak letter color. It used to be accessible by hitting F5. Has that menu been disabled on digiex.net?

At some point in the future we plan to allow people to rent game servers from us for your clan / friends, we would set the server up with the game then you could do what you want, like add new maps, mods and so on.

Private servers are fine, but do you offer an admin plan of some kind for the current UT2004 server? In other words, some kind of basic access that would accord paying users a few admin rights, such as uploading maps, resetting the server (
), etc. I understand that there might be some security issues with such a plan, but it never hurts to ask.Gorge, those maps sound very cool. By the way, players have gotten use to Subduction and are requesting it regularly now. Once you learn the terrain, it's a fun map. Thanks again for getting it added.
And swing by some day, Gorge: there are more players these days. I've enjoyed some close, competitive matches recently.

This game currently attracts stupid people. There are players who are spoiling the games. I made screenshots in spect. Here few.
Players (even regular), who just arrived in the game, insult others.
I don't like that.

Ha, I see a comment of mine in your screenshots from this weekend. Were you playing with an alt?
Anyway, I was away on holiday for 2 weeks until Saturday so I can only judge the games I played this weekend, and no one was insulting other people, that I saw. I guess I got lucky.Mostly if players complain or insult others, I just ignore them, or laugh. However, I will say that Leecher got on my nerves 15 days ago, with his arrogant & condescending attitude. It's a shame, too, because his aim is amazing -- unless he's aimbotting ... ?
