Sneakypeanut released a new version of Easy freeBOOT - an application which will automate the creation of a 12611 rebooter for JTAG-able consoles.

What you will need:
A working nand image for your jtag and your cpu key.

You can get a nand backup using FSD or flash360. Your CPU key can be acquired by booting into XeLLous and telling this program to get the key.

Procedure:
  • Run the software
  • Select your nand
  • Check your CPU key
  • Wait for the creation
  • Place the image on your USB drive
  • Flash
  • Enjoy!

Optional:
You can view my guide. https://digiex.net/guides-reviews/c...ag-console-using-easy-freeboot-12611-gui.html

Warning:
A friend has informed me that Easy FreeBoot may have problems with 256/512 jaspers and Windows XP

okidoki., :) InsaneNutter can i ask some quesion., im about to upgrade my xbox 360 jasper arcade to 320 gig., is it posible?

If your 360 is already Jtagged, then it's easily possible, pretty much a plug in and use if i'm not mistaken. If you aren't Jtagged depending on the hard drive, it may be possible for you to hack it to work with your 360, depending if you have the right brand/model.

Hi, guys new to the site... HELLO....

Can some one put up an idiots guide to using easy freeboot.

I'm currently on Jtag dash 9199 and would like to update to 12611 but i don't know how to use this application.

I think I'll be ok with getting a copy of my nand off my xbox using the FSD and I already have the cpu key on the disk that I got when I got my box jtag'd.

Would just like to know where to put the cpu key and the nand when using easy freeboot

Thanks in advance

Richie

Hi,

I'm trying to use Easy FreeBoot to update my nand from 9199 to 21611 - latest version -
I've got my nand off my box ok and I have my cpu key but when I put these into Easy Freeboot and try and generate a new NAND i get the following error..

sysupdate.xexp1
ERROR: Unhandled expection

Any help would be most appricated

Hi, I've been trying with the BestPig app, since I'm on XP. (Will get a 7 machine running later today).
My Issue is pretty wierd.

I think I have my original nand, I created image as guide here linked to sais, and done the update with the flash tool. But every time I flash, it is still the 9xxx version just reset.

This happens both with the current nand, if I put that through bestpig toolbox, and the original nand.

From what I can read, this is because maybe mine is made from donor files... (Without sounding too fancy). I will try the,

But pls, anybody stop me if result might be the same :S

Update; My solution was the hard way, by InsaneNutters guide mentioned above - Meaning, no easy gui drag'n'drop tools.
